Observation Hours

    INSTRUCTIONS: There are two options for fulfilling the observation hours admission requirement. You can submit:
    (1) prior evidence
     of 50 hours of observation or work with children, preferably in a public school setting, or
    (2) observe virtual video scenarios selected by the School of Education for:
    (a) elementary and middle school classroom or
    b) 
    high school classroom teaching methods. If you choose to complete the virtual observation scenarios, please (a) observe these virtual video scenarios, take notes, and (b) complete the virtual log. The log must be completed for each video watched or observed.  

    NOTE: A total of 50 observation hours must be completed to fulfill this admission requirement to support your application to the School of Education teacher education programs. The 50 observation hours requirement will not check off on the application checklist until there is a total of 50 or more hours submitted.
